Most children on the autism spectrum can get in the hug pod themselves, applying deep, even pressure to many sensitive areas of the body. We received 2 of these from my son’s aunt a couple of years ago. Smaller pod and the XL pod. It was great while it lasted. Unfortunately the bigger boat got a rather long rip in the seams and so the base will not fill with air. It was used sparingly and seasonally, and not daily, and so we were surprised. The reviews of this product are great and warranted, however, one should know that, in the end, it’s an inflatable, and will have a shelf life. And at the cost, you can determine if it’s worth the risk.
