Walk in the rain without getting wet with our new Calming Fiber Optic Raincloud! A perfect addition to any sensory room, the Fiber Optic Raincloud features 150 “raindrops” of vibrant, glowing fiber optics that slowly change colors in a serene, calming pattern. Because the fiber optics have no electricity in them – only light – it is safe to move among them and get up close to the light and feel the strands for a tactile experience.  Look up, and you will see yourself in the mirror that is mounted underneath, watching the rain come down from off in the distance! It creates a truly immersive experience.

The Fiber Optic Raincloud was designed from the beginning to be extremely easy to install, and it folds for easy, compact shipping. It comes complete with 150 strands of fiber optics, a high quality lightsource and low voltage transformer, and all the necessary hardware to mount onto a wall with drywall construction. If your wall construction is brick or block, your installer or maintenance department will need to provide suitable wall anchors.

The Fiber Optic Raincloud is available in three versions:  Calming, Superactive, and IRiS.

• Calming products generate a constantly changing rainbow of colors, slowly cycling through them all.  It is perfect for de-escalation, and for situations where having a controller can be distracting and/or dangerous.
• Superactive products come with a dedicated 8-color wireless controller, allowing users to have control of their sensory environment by selecting the color they choose.  This allows caregivers to work on skills like color recognition, motor control, and more.
• IRiS products can be “paired” with multiple different types of controllers to challange, and develop, a wide range of skills.  Truly state-of-the-art, the IRiS line of equipment is the most flexible and inclusive technology in the multisensory realm.

Note:  The IRiS Fiber Optic Raincloud requires a “talker” (controller) to function properly.

Comes complete with two decorative thunderbolts.  Umbrella not included (nor needed)!
