Linear Gliders

Description

Introducing the Linear Gliders!

Linear Gliders are another therapist-proven piece of

equipment. The Gliders accommodate clients from pre-schoolers to adults

in a variety of positions. Your creative possibilities are endless with

this piece of equipment. It is ideally used to provide vestibular input,

increase balance, address weight-shifting abilities and increase

bilateral coordination.

The Standard Linear Glider works best when

hung from two ceiling points spaced 3-1/2′ to 4-1/2′ apart. The Adult

Glider should be hung 4-1/2′ to 5-1/2′ apart. It can also be hung from

one point, but this will limit its range of motion. Linear Gliders:

• develop postural reactions and weight-shift patterns
• accommodate activities in all developmental positions
• come with a set of pull handles

The

Standard Linear Glider and the Adult Linear Glider feature a platform

with removable carpet, and suspension ropes with stabilizing rungs. The

platform edges are covered in upholstery-grade vinyl for extra

protection.
